The death took place at Upper Hutt last evening of Mr Richard Kelly, a residence of the Featherston district for the past fifty years. Deceased, who was a son of the late Mr Patrick Kelly had been ailing for the past two years, and on Friday went to the Upper Hutt to visit his daughter there. Soon after arrival, however he took ill.
