Churchill William John Wainwright (Bill). At Franklin Memorial Hospital, Waiuku on May 22, 1997; in his 88 year. Thank you Bill for choosing me to spend 43 years of your life with.
God saw you getting weary,
When a cure was not to be,
He closed His arms around
you and whispered
'Come to me'
It broke my heart to lose you,
Bill, but you did not go alone
For part of me with went with you
the day God called you home.
I hold you close within my heart,
And there you will remain,
To walk with me
For the rest of my life
Until we meet again.
Your loving wife Marion
