The death occurred last night in Dannevirke of a highly respected residence in the person of Mr W. J. Bott, father of the well-known Dannevirke family of that name. The late Mr Bott was an old Colonist, arriving at Wellington 44 years ago in the ship "Shuzucker?". With the exception of the last four years, which were spent here, the deceased had resided for the whole period at Wellington where he was engaged in business. A grown up family is left to mourn their loss, and will have sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
