Attended Otaki Convent School. She married Denzil Lawrence Corrigan, an Otaki Gorge Farmer. They had no children. During the depression of the 1930's they were amongst the many who walked off their uneconomic farms. In 1936, they began farming at Pekapeka.

No flowers please, by request. The Funeral Service will be held in St Mark's Church, Rosetta Rd, Raumati Beach at 2 pm on Tuesday June 7, 1977, followed by interment at Sy Mary's Church Cemetery, Convent Road, Otaki. Mary was the Dux of Otaki Convent School. She married Morrison Charles McIntyre, who was secretary of the Otaki Dairy Company. Later they moved to Norsewood, then to Hawera. She died in 1992.
