Taylor, Shirley (nee Melrose) - On Monday May 2, 2005 suddenly at Elderslea Lodge, after a long illness in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Les for 51 years and loved mother and mother-in-law of Ross (deceased), Rex, Lorraine and Andrew de Wit. Loved Grandma of Matt and Emma. Special thanks to the staff at Elderslea Lodge for their loving care of Shirley. In lieu of flowers, donations to Save the Children Fund would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Shirley will be held in Kingswood, cnr Cairo and King Sts, Upper Hutt on Friday May 6, 2005 at 1:30pm followed by private cremation at Akatarawa.
