With tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away.
We tended you with love and care,
But could not make you stay,
Away in a beautiful garden,
Sheltered from sorrow and pain,
Away where life's journey has ended,
Darling Nancy, some day we'll meet again.
Friend and relatives are invited to a service for Nancy, to be held in the Patetonga Community Church, Otane Street, Patetonga, on Thursday, March 3, 1994, at 2.00 pm. Allely Nancy June. On February 28, 1994.
Dear Mum,
You brought me up the Nancy way,
A few last words for you I say,
Lovely nature, but could be firm,
Always nice and full of advice,
The best of cooks and fancy foods,
Lovely garden full of bloom,
Busy hands and crafty plans,
Loved the dancing and the soaps,
Enjoying the country, but not the cats,
A cruel, cruel way to go we known,
But you put up a really good last show,
Will always love you for ever.
Your son Kevin

Allely Nancy June. On February 28, 1994.
Today is filled with heartache
A memory never to fade
Of a mother I loved so dearly
But whom I could not save
She slipped away so quietly,
Her thoughts were all unknown,
But she left a beautiful memory,
Which I am proud to own,
In my heart forever,
your loving daughter, Robyn
