Mr Isaac Fisk
The death occured in Palmerston North this week of Mr Isaac Fisk, who for half a century was a well known and highly respected residence of Napier. Mr Fisk, who was born in Wellington 82 years ago, came from a well known sea fearing family, his father being the late Captain Henry Fisk. In Napier, where he lived for more than 50 years, Mr Fisk was an engineer in the employ of the Napier City Council, a position he accepted after having been a ship's engineer in Wellington and Nelson. On his retirement about six years ago he took up residence in Palmerston North. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Messrs H. M. Fisk (Hastings), and K. Fisk (Auckland), and three daughters, Mesdames D. Foster (Palmerston North), J. Walder (Wellington) and J. Athya (Auckland)
