The Daily Telegraph 29th December 1939 shows
Pascoe - At Hastings, on December 28th, 1939, Louis James McKee, dearly beloved husband of Blanche Pascoe, of 408 Lascelles Street, Hastings. Aged 50 years.
The funeral will leave the chapel of Tong & McIvor, Nelson Street, for the Hastings cemetery tomorrow (Saturday) at the conclusion of a service which will commence at 2 p.m.

Obituary
Mr L. J. Pascoe
The death occurred in Hastings last night, after a brief illness, of Mr Louis James McKee Pascoe, who passed away at the age of 50 years.
The deceased gentleman had been in business in Hastings as a butcher for a number of years, and a short time ago he suffered an attack of pneumonia, which ultimately resulted in his death.
A man of sterling character, he was held in the highest esteem by all knew him, and to his widow, three daughters and son who are left to mourn his loss, the deepest sympathy will be extended.
The funeral will leave the chapel of Messrs Tong and McIvor, Nelson street, for the Hastings Cemetery tomorrow, at the conclusion of a service which will commence at 2 p.m.
