Funeral Notice
Friends kindly note that the funeral will leave his late residence, 27 Alexander Street, today (Monday), at 10 a.m., for the Old Wanganui Cemetery. - Rogers and Dempsey, Funeral Directors, 144 Victoria Avenue

The death occurred on Saturday of Mr George Benson, at the age of 74. At one time a baker, the late Mr Benson was well known in Wanganui in the early days of the city. A good rifle shot, he was a member of the old Wanganui Navals. The funeral leaves his late residence, 27 Alexander Street, at 10 o'clock this morning for the Old Wanganui Cemetery. At a gathering of the combined Wellington, Kiwi and Wanganui Athletic Club held at Pauatahanui a vote of sympathy was passed to Mr George Benson, junr., in the death of his father
